Two-day meeting of D8 Commission begins today

Islamabad: The two-day meeting of the D8 Commission will start in Islamabad today Monday. The meeting will review progress in intraD8 cooperation in several areas in the context of roadmap of cooperation from 2008 to 2018.

The D8 Commissioners from Member Countries‚ including Bangladesh‚ Egypt‚ Indonesia‚ Iran‚ Malaysia‚ Nigeria‚ Pakistan and Turkey and D8 Secretary General Dr. Seyed Ali Mohammad Mousavi will attend the meeting. Adviser to the Prime Minister on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz will inaugurate the event. The agenda of the meeting includes review of D8 Agreements relating to facilitation of trade and business among member countries.
