Two killed, one injured in Karachi firing

Karachi: Two people were killed and one other injured in separate incidents of violence in the city on Tuesday.

According to rescue sources, a tortured body of a 30-year old man was recovered from a garbage bin near Saleem Centre in North Karachi. The body was not yet identified and shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities. It bore marks of torture and bullet wound in the head.

Meanwhile, unidentified armed men opened fire in Khajoor Bazaar area of Lee Market, Lyari, killing a 25-year-old unidentified man. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for an autopsy.

Moreover, 25-year-old Farooq, son of Tariq suffered bullet wounds after he resisted a dacoity bid near Malir Halt.

The injured was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for medical treatment.
