Two prisoners released from Malir Jail

Karachi: Two prisoners were released from Malir Jail after payment of their fines. As per details, District & Sessions Judge Malir Muhammad Yameen with other judges Amjad Soomro, Naveed Asgher Sheikh, Muhammad Ali Memon, Abdul Shakoor Kalhoro Hassan Ali Kalwer, Sr. Vice Chairman Saiban Saleem Khan and general secretary Saiban Haider Ali Haider visited Malir Jail.

Under the new judicial policy of the Supreme Court of Pakistan SCP, the District and Sessions Judge Malir Muhammad Yameen, Assistant Session Judge Amjad Soomro, Naveed Asghar Sheikh, Muhammad Ali Memon, Abdul Shakoor Kalhoro, Hassan Ali Kalwer, PS to DJ Malir Zubair Bin Mehmood, Sr. Vice Chairman Saiban Saleem Khan, Vice Chairman Abdul Waheed Azad, General Secretary Saiban Haider Ali Haider & Social Worker Junaid Kamal visited District Jail Malir.

Senior Superintendent Mirza Shuja Haider Baig, Assistant Superintendent, Asif Sarfaraz, and other jail officials were present.

The D%SJ went round hospital, kitchen & various barrackes, met the prisoners and acquired about the details of ongoing cases in various courts. He met the prisoners in barracks and listened to their problems and assured them of speedy justice.

On the occasion large number of prisoners presented applications for an early hearing of their cases while many submitted applications for review of the court decisions.

During his visit to various barracks prisoners informed the judges that they had completed their sentence but are in jail because of inability to pay the fined amount.

The Chairman Saiban, Haq Nawaz Akhtar paid the amount of the fines, travelling expenses and got them 02 prisoners released.
