Ratodero, Sindh: Two schools are running in a single building in Garhi Khuda Bux since last three years. Government Boys Primary School and Government Boys Secondary School have been housed in the same building as the new Secondary School has not yet been completed construction of which started in 2011-12 under Larkana Development Package program.

Due to non-completion and slow pace of work the students and the teachers are undergoing severe difficulties as over 120 students have passed their matriculation examination without having any scientific knowledge as there is no science or drawing halls in the present building. Only 4 rooms are given at the first floor of the building to Secondary School students of five classes from VI to X and four rooms at the ground floor for primary students which are insufficient. Over 70 students are sitting in a class as about 390 students are enrolled.

High School is running here in this building since 2010 which is originally for primary school. Two posts of Junior School Teachers, one each of High School Teacher and OT are lying vacant since long. Three posts of AWI, DT and PTI were abolished by the then Larkana Zila Nazim Khursheed Junejo.

In-charge Head Master Manzoor Mangi told that students of many nearby villages come here to get education, which include Sahab Jo Goth, Sanwal Jarwar, Hussain Bhutto, Koreja, Kot Bhutto, Razi Pittafi, Zaman Shah, Sohrab Machi and others. He further said that even students of Khan Wah also come here as its school is almost non-functional. He further said that Garhi Khuda Bux has a significant status in the world but its schools lack many facilities due to which education of the students suffer badly. He said that middle school of this village was upgraded in 1989 during the government of Benazir Bhutto.
