Uncle, nephew injured in clash

RATODERO: Uncle and nephew were seriously injured on Tuesday morning within the limits of Market police station in Larkana. The dispute between the two relatives started over the ownership of 100-acre government land in katcha (reverine) area located within the limits of Pir Sher police station of Larkana. Their relatives told media that Ghulam Shabir Jatoi went to Otaq of his uncle Akbar Jatoi along Pir Sher road and asked him to resolve the issue through some notables of the area or the sardar of the community.

This led to a bloody quarrel and suddenly both took out pistols and started firing at each other. Resutantly, both sustained injuries and were rushed to Chandka Medical College Hospital (CMCH) Larkana for treatment. Duty doctor told media that each injured received four injuries. Shabir is a teacher and Akbar is a political activist.

Both were shifted to Karachi on their own will through ambulances separately. No case was registered till filing this report. Police have started investigation into the matter.
