LARKANA: One of the most thickly populated and ancient locality of Larkana is Nazar Mohalla, which is known here as blank cheque vote bank of ruling Pakistan People’s Party, but it is facing worst unhygienic situation now a days.

The streets of this locality are overflowing with dirty contaminated drainage water due to negligence of local municipal and other relevant authorities who have been time and again warned to keep the city neat and clean by Ministers, MNAs and other district administration authorities but they have ignored these warnings as yet resulting in garbage dumps everywhere and overflowing sewerage drain water which has inundated almost all low lying areas.

Citizens Irshad Jokhio and others have complained to journalists that most of the time electricity is unavailable to their areas which too has added to their miseries as annual examinations of their children are taking place and they cannot prepare themselves for next day paper.

They further said that sui gas pressure drops to undetectable levels at the time of cooking which is yet another factor which has made their lives extremely worrisome. The citizens further informed that they have approached many times to administrative officials through written complaints but all in vain.
