Update News: Karachi firing incidents claim 6 lives

KARACHI: At least six people were killed and three others injured in firing incidents across the city on Thursday.

According to rescue sources, unidentified men shot dead Hassan s/o Yaqoob at Fawara Chowk in Garden area of the city, within the limits of Garden Police Station. The body of 33year old victim was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi CHK.

A 28year old man, Syed Rahim, son of Syed Bashir was gunned down by unidentified armed men near Saddar parking plaza, within the jurisdiction of Brigade police station. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre Hospital.

In another incident, two tortured bodies of unidentified men were recovered from Steel Town Link Road, within the limits of Steel Town Police Station. The bodies were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

A mutilated body was also recovered from Mewa Shah Graveyard in Lyari area of the metropolis. The body of 35yearold victim was shifted to Edhi Sohrab Goth Mortuary.

A 32yearold man, Ibrahim was gunned down by unidentified armed men in Agra Taj Colony, Lyari within the precincts of Kalri police station.

The body was brought to CHK for autopsy.

Unidentified men opened fire in Khadda market area of the metropolitan, injuring three people. They were identified as Adnan s/o Iqbal, Ramzan s/o Ghulam and Khalid s/o Tajuddin. They were shifted to the CHK.
