Vatican’s ambassador visits Nine Zero

KARACHI: Vatican’s Ambassador Msgr. Edgar Pena Parra and his deputy head of mission Fr. Tomilav Ukez visited MQM’s Head Quarter Nine Zero with his delegation and met with members of Rabita Committee headed by Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and others including Dr. Farooq Sattar, Haider Abbas Rizvi, Nasreen Jalil and Rashid Godal.

They conveyed a special message of Vatican’s Pope for Altaf Hussain. On this occasion Haq Parast Senator Farough Naseem and MQM’s member of the Sindh Assembly for minority Arif Bhatti were also present.

The ambassador discussed with the Rabita Committee members on national and international issues of mutual interest. He praised Mr. Hussain’s efforts for the sectarian harmony and protection of minorities in Pakistan.

The Rabita Committee members thanked the honourable ambassador and his delegation conveyed them the message of MQM’s founder and leader Mr. Hussain for the Pope. The meeting was held in pleasant environment and both sides stressed the need of interfaith harmony among different religious communities
