India’s skipper Virat Kohli has became the fastest-ever batsmen to reach 10,000 One-day International runs.

Kohli has achieved this milestone in his 205th innings against the West Indies in Visakhapatnam.

The 29-year-old star cricketer surpassed fellow Indian batting great Sachin Tendulkar, who first crossed the 10,000-run mark in 259 innings in 2001.

He is currently the world’s No.1 batsman in both the Test and one-day formats.

He is just the 13th batsman, and fifth Indian, to join the elite list of batsmen who have scored over 10,000 runs in the One-day internationals.

The list includes Sachin Tendulkar, Kumar Sangakkara, Ricky Ponting, Sanath Jayasuriya, Mahela Jayawardene, Inzamam ul-Haq, Jacques Kallis, Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid, Brian Lara, Tillakaratne Dilshan, and Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
