Water complaints be resolved within 3 days: KWSB

Karachi: Managing Director Karachi Water & Sewerage Board KWSB on Wednesday directed relevant officials to develop consumer complaint system to streamline water supply system across the city.

“Steps should be taken to provide better water supply to the citizens of Karachi and complaints must be entertained immediately, said Managing Director KWSB. He said that complainants with complete details such as name, address, phone number should be noted, whereas complaint registers must be made available at the offices of all Executive Engineers.

Complaints must be resolved without any prejudice within three days, he said and directed that if any XEN is unable to resolve the complaint due to any reason they must report back to Deputy Managing Director Technical Services and inform him about the issue.
