West police arrest 11 accusedMay 20, 2013
KARACHI: The six police stations of District West police on Monday arrested 11 accused during different raids and recovered weapons, looted valuables and drug from their possession.
On the directives of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) District West, Asif Ejaz Sheikh, Station House Officer (SHO) Jackson Inspector Fateh Muhammad Sheikh during patrolling arrested two members of street criminal group -Samiullah and Hasnain at Massan Road Keamari. The police also recovered two pistols, two magazines, 10 cartridges and snatched cash from their possession.
Sher Shah, SITE-A, Docks and Peerabad police in separate raids arrested seven members of five street criminal & bandits groups namely Sabir, Imam Baksh, Asif Nawaz, Tariq , Mir Alam, Javaid alias Asif and Sultan Khan. The police recovered seven pistols, seven magazine, 35 cartridges, five snatched mobiles and cash from their possession.
The Peerabad and Madina Colony police in different raids arrested two accused Hamid Khan and Asif. The police also recovered drugs from their possession.
SSP District West Asif Ejaz Sheikh gave cash awards and appreciation certificates to SHO Jackson Fateh Muhammad Sheikh, SHO Sher Shah Khan Muhammad Sheikh and SHO SITE-A Tufail Ahmed.
