Opposition constantly pursuing policy of chaos, anarchy: Ali

Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan says holding a peaceful protest is the constitutional right of every citizen but the opposition is constantly pursuing a policy of chaos and anarchy.

Talking to a private news channel, he said despite of continuously ruling in Sindh, Pakistan Peoples Party has failed to deliver.

Ali Muhammad Khan said opposition parties are staging a drama to get relief for their leaders from the corruption cases.

He said the opposition parties are trying to get NRO from the government but they would not succeed in it.

PPP-led Sindh Govt has failed to provide relief to the people of the province: Qureshi

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf has become the voice of the whole country.

He was addressing the separate public gatherings at Sindh Haqooq March in Sukkar, Kandhkot and jacobabad.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi said the Pakistan People’s Party-led Sindh government has failed to provide relief to the people of the province.

The Foreign Minister expressed regret that federal govenment wants to provide health cards to the people of Sindh, but the provincial government is creating hurdles in it.

Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib says the government is not afraid of any long march or other move of opposition parties.

Talking to a private news channel, he said the opposition’s agenda is not people’s welfare but they are only interested in protecting their own vested interest.

The Minister of State said Pakistan Peoples Party has been continuously enjoying power in Sindh over a decade but the people of the province are still deprived of basic necessities of life.

Replying to a question, he said the Pakistan Electronic Crimes Act is not person specific and the opposition should give their proposals to bring improvement in it rather than criticizing the government.

Nation united, ready to give befitting response to any aggression: FM

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi says the nation is united and ready to give a befitting response to any aggression.

In a video message with regard to third anniversary of Operation Swift Retort, he lauded Pakistan’s armed forces for achieving success against terrorism and securing the future of every child of the country.

He also lauded the unmatched sacrifices and greatness of Shuhada and their families.

In a veiled reference to recent voting in the UN Security Council on Russia-Ukraine conflict, the Foreign Minister said the double standards of Modi’s government have been exposed to the world.

He said on one hand, India is declaring itself to be a part of the QUAD, and claims a net security provider, but on the other hand, when a resolution was tabled in the UNSC, it abstained.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi said India called upon the West to support it viz e viz China, but when the time arrived, it gave mixed signals to those with whom it touted to have firm ties.

Beijing calls for greater cooperation b/w LEAs of Pakistan, China

China says Beijing and Islamabad are strategic partners and there is a need for greater cooperation between the law enforcement agencies (LEAs) of both countries.

In a letter to Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, Chinese Minister for Public Security Zhao Kezhi praised Pakistan’s excellent role in investigating the Dasu terrorist incident.

He thanked Pakistan for supporting China in the election of the 89th UN General Assembly Interpol Executive Committee.

The Chinese Minister called for enhancing mutual cooperation to further bring the peoples of the two countries closer.
