Nyxoah to Present BETTER SLEEP Data, Host Physician Events at World Sleep Congress 2022

Mont-Saint-Guibert, Belgium – March 7, 2022, 10:30pm CET / 4:30pm ET – Nyxoah SA (Euronext Brussels/Nasdaq: NYXH)(“Nyxoah” or the “Company”), a medical technology company focused on the development and commercialization of innovative solutions to treat Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA), today announced that the Company will showcase data from its BETTER SLEEP clinical trial in a poster presentation and host physician events at the 16th World Sleep Congress 2022, which is being held March 11-16 in Rome, Italy. World Sleep, a global scientific congress, gathers leaders in sleep medicine and research from around the world for scientific sessions and networking.

On Monday, March 14 at 5:30pm CET, BETTER SLEEP study data will be presented during a poster session.

Nyxoah will also host two other physician events on Sunday, March 13. In the morning, members of Nyxoah’s clinical and R&D teams will host a scientific advisory board session with a group of U.S. and international key opinion leaders. At 7:00pm CET that evening, Nyxoah will host an event for physicians entitled “Shifting Paradigm in OSA Therapy with Genio”. Nyxoah expects approximately 40 physicians from the U.S. and Europe to attend this event.

Shah Mahmood, Wang Yi discuss bilateral ties, regional and global situation

Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi spoke on telephone with State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi of the People’s Republic of China, today (Tuesday).

According to the Foreign Office,the two Foreign Ministers discussed bilateral ties and exchanged views on the regional and global situation.

State Councilor Wang Yi conveyed his condolences on the loss of precious lives in the cowardly terrorist attack in Peshawar and sympathies with the families of the victims. The Foreign Minister underlined that the terrorist act was an attack on the peace-loving people of Pakistan who had rendered tremendous sacrifices to eliminate the scourge of terrorism from Pakistan. He shared the resolve of the Government to continue its unrelenting counter-terrorism efforts and bringing the perpetrators to justice.

Recalling the successful visit of the Prime Minister to China in which various important decisions were taken to advance bilateral practical cooperation, Foreign Minister Qureshi stressed the importance of close coordination between the two sides for early realization of agreed ventures and projects. He expressed satisfaction on the high-quality development of CPEC and accelerating industrial relocation and investments to Pakistan.

The Foreign Minister conveyed Pakistan’s concern at the situation in Ukraine and underscored the need for a diplomatic solution in accordance with the relevant multilateral agreements, international law and provisions of the UN Charter.

The two Foreign Ministers discussed the continued efforts for peace and stability in Afghanistan and emphasized the need for the international community to sustain humanitarian assistance for the Afghan people.

Opposition submits no-confidence motion against PM Imran Khan

The Opposition has submitted the no-confidence motion against the Prime Minister in the National Assembly Secretariat.

PML-N’s Khawaja Saad Rafique, Marriyum Aurangzeb, Ayaz Sadiq, Rana Sanaullah, Khawaja Saad Rafique and PPP’s Naveed Qamar and Shazia Marri submitted the no-trust motion and requisition for the session.

Govt makes landmark legislation for protection of women’s rights: Asad

Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar has said the government has done landmark legislation for the protection of rights of women.

Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad on Tuesday, he commended the efforts of Ministry of Human Rights in this regard.

The Minister for Planning noted that women are immensely contributing in different walks of life. He said they are playing an important role in the economic activity, emphasizing their role also needs to be recognized.

Asad Umar said the women health workers also played a pivotal role in the wake of breakout of Covid-19 pandemic.

The Minister for Planning said women are fifty percent of the population and it is our effort to take steps to bring improvement in their lives.
