Ramadan Package hampers distributed among over 3 million families: CM Punjab


Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif says Ramadan Negehban Package hampers have so far been distributed among over three million deserving families.

In a statement, she said provision of hampers to a total of six point four million deserving families will be completed in few days.

She said that all necessary measures have been taken to ensure transparency in the Nigehban Ramadan Package through QR Code and CNIC.

NTDC to launch three solar power projects in Punjab


National Transmission and Dispatch Company will establish three solar power projects in Punjab to generate 4200 megawatt electricity.

According to NTDC spokesperson, a 600 Mega Watt solar power project will be established in the Kot Addu district on 2,553 acres of land.

Similarly, a solar project of 1200 MW will be installed in Layyah and 600 MW in Jhang to reduce dependence on expensive fuel.

Info Minister vows to resolve problems being faced by masses


Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has said that resolution of the problems of masses is top priority of the present government.

Addressing a ceremony in Lahore today, he said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz always served the people with utmost dedication and now country will again make strides towards progress and prosperity.

He also called for making Pakistan a citadel of peace where people belonging to all faiths could live in peace and harmony.

Expanding tax base vital for country’s economy: Punjab Governor


Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Establishment Division Ahad Khan Cheema held a meeting with Punjab Governor Baligh Ur Rehman in Lahore.

They discussed matters relating to increase foreign direct investment in the country and encouragement of local investors.

Punjab Governor Baligh Ur Rehman said expanding tax base is vital for country’s economy.
