PM praises security forces for successful anti-terrorism operation in Buner


Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has lauded the security forces for their successful operation against terrorists in District Buner.

In a statement, he said that the valiant Jawans of Pakistan Army with their professional capability had sent the enemies of the country to hell.

He further said that he along with the entire nation paid tribute to the valorous soldiers on their valiant act.

The prime minister also expressed his deep grief and sorrow over shahadat of Lance Havildar Mudassar Mehmood and Lance Naek Haseeb Javed.

He prayed for the high ranks of the martyred and for the bereaved families to bear the losses with fortitude.

Prime Minister said the unprecedented sacrifices of the sons of the soil were a matter of great pride for the whole nation.

President condemns tragic incident of killing of bus passengers in Nushki


President Asif Ali Zardari has strongly condemned the tragic incident of killing of bus passengers on national highway in Nushki district of Balochistan.

The President said our security forces are committed to complete elimination of terrorists with the help of the entire nation.

Commiserating with the bereaved families, he said the entire nation rejects the nefarious designs of terrorists.

Funeral prayers of Nushki terror attack victims offered


Funeral prayer of the martyred persons in the Noshki terrorist incident was offered at the Police Line in Quetta.

Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti, members of provincial assembly, high officials of Police and Frontier Corps Balochistan attended the funeral.

Later, the dead bodies of the deceased be dispatched to their native towns in Punjab.

Over 3000 Sikh Yatrees arrive in Pakistan for Besakhi Mela


Over three thousand Sikh yatrees from India arrived Pakistan through Wagha border today to participate in Besakhi Mela.

The officials of Evacuee Trust Property Board received the yatrees.

During their stay in Pakistan, yatrees will visit their religious places at Hassanabdal, Nankana Sahib, Narowal, Eminabad and Badami Bagh Lahore, through special trains.

All the arrangements including accommodation, security, transport and medical for yatrees have been completed by ETPB.

Talking to the newsmen at the Wagah border, Party leader Kulant Singh and Deputy Party Leader Amarjit Singh thanked the government of Pakistan and the Evacuee Trust Property Board and said that they are very happy to come to Pakistan.

They said that millions of Sikhs are eager to come to Pakistan for the yatra.

The main event of Baisakhi Mela will be held tomorrow at Gurudwara Panja Sahib Hasan Abdal. The Sikh pilgrims will return to India after completing their 10-day pilgrimage on twenty-second of this month.

Seerat Museum will help combat Islamophobia: PM


Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said the Seerat Museum will help impart ethical education and combat Islamophobia.

He made these remarks while addressing the foundation stone ceremony of the Seerat Museum in Islamabad tonight.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the establishment of the Seerat Museum will provide valuable insight into the virtuous life of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) for the younger generation.

Expressing appreciation for the valuable contributions of Saudi Arabia towards the construction of the Seerat Museum, he said that such projects solidify the collaboration between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. He thanked the Saudi leadership for demonstrating their love for Pakistan through projects like the Faisal Mosque and the Seerat Museum, as well as for their assistance during difficult times.

He also thanked Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz, as well as the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, for generously hosting his delegation during his recent t
rip to Saudi Arabia.

The Secretary-General of the Muslim World League, Abdulkarim Al-Issa, and Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki also participated in the ceremony.
