Pakistan, Sri Lanka to enhance Cooperation in tourism sector


Pakistan and Sri Lanka should enhance bilateral Cooperation in tourism sector particularly religious tourism.

This was stated by Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan while talking to a Sri Lankan delegation, led by Religious and Cultural Affairs Minister Vidura Wickrama nayaka in Lahore today.

Provincial governor stressed need to further strengthen bilateral cultural ties through economic and tourism sectors.

Rana Mashhood stresses govt’s commitment to empower youth


Chairman Prime Minister’ Youth Program, Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan says necessary measures are being taken for the progress of youth.

He was talking to newsmen in Lahore today after launching Arfa Karim Fellowship Programme.

He said under Prime Minister’s Youth Program, various programs are being launched for the betterment of youth in the province.

He said government wants to boost country’s IT industry from two point five billion dollars to up to twenty five billion dollars.

Rana Mashhood said all possible opportunities will be provided to youth in the IT sector.

Punjab win PNSC Inter Provincial Women’s Softball Championship


Punjab have won the first PNSC Inter Provincial Women’s Softball Championship, beating Balochistan by 14-13 in the final at the KPT Sports Complex in Peshawar.

Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Qaiser Ahmad Sheikh, who was the chief guest at the closing ceremony, distributed trophies and medals to the outstanding players.

PTV Sports’ Program ‘Game On Hai’ getting popularity


Pakistan Television Sports’ Program ‘Game On Hai’ is getting popularity among cricket fans ahead of ICC T-20 World Cup 2024.

Exclusive interviews of former cricket players and cricket experts are being presented in the program.

Cricket star Shoaib Akhtar is once again joining PTV Sports’ program Game On Hai.

It is pertinent to mention that Shoaib Akhtar has joined PTV sports on the special invitation of Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar.

Former New Zealand cricketer Martin Guptill, former cricketers of Pakistan cricket team Muhammad Hafeez and Younis Khan made a special appearance in the Game On Hai program and expressed their expert opinion.

Martin Guptill said Pakistan Team consists of successful and experienced players. He said this is the best opportunity for Pakistan to perform in the ICCT20 World Cup.

Muhammad Younis said we need a collective team effort instead of relying on a few players to win matches.

Former player Muhammad Hafeez said the best Pakistani team has been
selected for the T-20 World Cup.
