Shehbaz Sharif visits Terracotta Warriors Museum in Xi’an, China


Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif along with his delegation visited the Terracotta Warriors Museum in Xi’an, China.

During the visit, the Prime Minister and the delegation were briefed on the preservation and restoration of historical heritage and promotion of tourism.

The Prime Minister visited various parts of the museum and appreciated the beauty of the ancient Chinese historical heritage and Chinese craftsmanship.

In his remarks, he said great nations like China protect their historical heritage. He said the protection and restoration of this historical heritage by the Chinese government is worthy of emulation.

Shehbaz Sharif said China has made its mark in every sector through its hard work.

He thanked the Chinese President Xi Jinping for his invitation to visit the museum.

Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistan is rich in historical and cultural heritage. He expressed the commitment to restore the country’s historical places and convert them into tourist spots.

Pakistan, Iran call for immediate end to Israeli aggression in Gaza


Pakistan and Iran have reaffirmed the commitment to continue strengthening their mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation and dialogue.

The resolve was expressed during meeting between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar with Acting Foreign Minister of Iran Ali Bagheri on the sidelines of Extraordinary Meeting of D-8 Council of Foreign Ministers in Istanbul, Trkiye today.

They expressed satisfaction over the trajectory of bilateral relations marked by increased high-level exchanges in political, economic, defence and security and intelligence spheres.

The two sides also discussed the ongoing Israeli bombardment and targeting of refugee camps in Rafah in the Gaza Strip.

They called for urgent measures to bring an immediate end to Israeli aggression, its incessant crimes against humanity and violation of international humanitarian law.

Ishaq Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s strong commitment to the people of Palestine and their right to self-determination.

He recalled the successful visit of l
ate President Dr. Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi to Pakistan in April this year and the important understandings reached during the visit. He also commended the role played by President Raisi and late Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian in deepening Pak-Iran bilateral relations.

The Acting Foreign Minister of Iran congratulated Ishaq Dar on Pakistan’s election as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council.

Ishaq Dar expressed Pakistan’s appreciation for Iran’s support and desire for working together to uphold international law and the UN Charter.

Governor KP, KSA Envoy discuss issues of mutual interest


Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan Nawab bin Saeed Al Maliki called on Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi in Islamabad.

They discussed issues of mutual interest and promotion of bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting, Pakistan-Saudi relations, available investment opportunities in the province and investment promotion were also discussed.

The Governor appreciated the relief services of King Salman Relief Center across the country especially Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He said that in the recent flood, King Salman Relief Center had provided full assistance to the flood victims in Dera Ismail Khan, Dir, Swat, Chitral, Charsadda with a spirit of love.

Faisal Karim Kundi said that the Saudi government had always supported the people of Pakistan in all kinds of critical situations.

Paigham-e-Pakistan conference held in Quetta to disseminate peace message


Paigham-e-Pakistan conference was organized in Quetta to disseminate the message of peace.

The participants paid rich tributes to those who rendered sacrifices for the creation of Pakistan. They vowed to collectively foil the conspiracies against the country.

Referring to the teachings of Islam, the religious scholars strong condemned terrorism.

The participants asked the youth to stand united in the fight against terrorism.
