PM decides to review TMS on daily basis


Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has decided to review the Task Management System on daily basis.

Task Management System is unique and modern software of international standards through which the instructions issued by the Prime Minister to the Federal Ministries are being monitored and the progress is being evaluated according to these instructions.

Chairing a meeting in Islamabad today regarding the task management system, he directed secretaries and heads of all Federal Ministries and departments to use the Task Management System by own.

The Prime Minister was told that mobile application of Task Management System has also been developed.

Dar chairs meeting of steering committee on airports’ outsourcing


A meeting of the Steering Committee on Outsourcing of Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore Airports was held in Islamabad today with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar in the chair.

During the meeting, International Finance Corporation team presented progress report on the outsourcing of Islamabad International airport.

It informed that a healthy competition between various consortiums, comprising local and foreign investors, is expected on 15th of next month, which is also the bid closing date.

The Steering Committee also reviewed progress on outsourcing of Lahore and Karachi airports and was satisfied with the work done so far.

As per plan, the concession structure for the two airports will be ready by mid-August this year.

The meeting ended with the expectations that outsourcing of Islamabad International airport would eventually result in improved and world class service standards along with enhanced customer experience.

Religious Affairs Minister directs to provide best facilities to Pakistani Hujjaj during Hajj


Minister for Religious Affairs Chaudhry Salik Hussain chaired a consultative meeting with the Hajj Organizers Association of Pakistan in Makkah to ensure well-being of Hajj pilgrims performing the religious obligation under the private scheme.

During the meeting, the Minister emphasized the importance of providing robust facilities for both government and private Hajj pilgrims at the holy sites of Mina and Arafat.

He underscored the government’s commitment to an inclusive and comprehensive Hajj experience.

PM proposes committee to resolve political issues


Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has proposed formation of a committee for resolution of political issues through bilateral cooperation.

He made this proposal to JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, while visiting the residence of the latter in Islamabad today.

Inquiring after Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the Prime Minister appreciated JUI-F’s religious services.

He said Maulana Fazlur Rehman has always promoted peaceful struggle for the protection of democratic values in the country.

Earlier upon arrival, the JUI-F Chief received the Prime Minister.
