Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Murtaza Javed Abbasi said that a process has been started to recover land of Pakistan Railways from the land mafia.
Speaking on the points of various members in the National Assembly today, he said this is being done as per the direction of the Supreme Court and the process must be supported by all.
The Minister said that there is also a Supreme Court ruling regarding sacked employees and the departments are bound to implement it.
The House continued discussion on the recent incidents of terrorism particularly in Peshawar.
Participating in the debate, Shahida Rehmani voiced concerns over the recent surge in terror acts. She said National Action Plan should be implemented in letter and spirit to root out terrorism.
Meanwhile, the National Assembly also passed “The Trade Dispute Resolution Bill, 2022”.
The bill moved by Minister of State for Law Shahadat Awan provides for the establishment of a comprehensive regime for the swift and effective resolution of disputes relating to the export and import of goods and services including through e-commerce.
The house has now been adjourned to meet again on Thursday at eleven am.
