Islamabad: Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal emphasized that political stability and continuity of policies are crucial for achieving sustainable economic development. He made these remarks while addressing a conference in Islamabad today.
According to Radio Pakistan, Iqbal underscored that durable growth can only be realized through continuous reforms. He highlighted Pakistan’s commitment to enhancing its exports, noting that significant progress has already been made due to the government’s prudent economic policies.
Iqbal also announced that Pakistan has reached the milestone of macroeconomic stability and is on the path to becoming an IT hub. Embracing technology, he stated, is essential for the country’s development.
Furthermore, he introduced URAAN Pakistan, a program aimed at the nation’s progress and prosperity, focusing on job creation and poverty elimination.
