Karachi: The five-day multinational Maritime Exercise AMAN-25 and the inaugural AMAN Dialogue are set to commence in Karachi tomorrow. The primary aim of the exercise is to unite maritime nations in adopting safe and sustainable practices, sharing experiences, and collectively confronting maritime threats.
According to Radio Pakistan, this ninth edition of the exercise will see participation from over sixty countries. The event will include ships, aircraft, special operations forces, EOD marine teams, and observers, all coming together to foster cooperation and understanding among participating nations.
In conjunction with the exercise, the AMAN Dialogue will serve as a platform for Chiefs of Navies, Coast Guards, and Defence Forces to exchange views on shared global and regional maritime issues. The dialogue aims to enhance collaboration and address challenges in the maritime domain effectively.
