APHC condemns upsurge in extrajudicial killings, arbitrary arrests in IIOJK

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, All Parties Hurriyat Conference has strongly condemned the upsurge in systematic genocide, extrajudicial killings, arbitrary arrests, torture and denial of religious, social and political rights of innocent Kashmiris by brutal Indian troops.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar, today, on the eve of World Human Rights Day deplored that the oppressed people of Jammu and Kashmir do not enjoy even a bit of the famous Universal Declaration of Human Rights, adopted by the United Nations General Assembly on 10th of December in 1948.

The posters containing the pictures of APHC Chairman, Masarrat Aalam Butt, Shabbir Ahmed Shah, Muhammad Yasin Malik, Aasiya Andrabi and other Kashmiri political prisoners were also displayed by several pro-freedom organizations.

Illegally detained human rights defender, Mohammed Ahsan Untoo, in a message from Jammu’s Kot Bhalwal Jail appealed to the world community to take cognizance of grave human rights abuses being perpetrated by Indian troops in the occupied territory.

The occupation authorities are also not releasing noted journalist, Fahad Shah, despite the granting of bail to him by a court of India’s notorious National Investigation Agency.

Fahad Shah was arrested earlier this year for exposing the Indian brutalities in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir through his online news portal, The Kashmir Walla.
