Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has felicitated the newly elected office-bearers of the Islamabad High Court Journalists’ Association. In a statement, he emphasized the government’s commitment to the freedom of expression and acknowledged the crucial role journalists play in providing accurate information to the public.
According to Radio Pakistan, Attaullah Tarar highlighted the importance of court reporters in the field of journalism, noting that, similar to lawyers, journalists must also be well versed in law. He expressed confidence that the newly elected office bearers of the Association will effectively fulfill their responsibilities and elevate the standards of journalism.
