Lahore: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has lauded workers of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz for their efforts and sacrifices to make sure the party remains united.
According to Radio Pakistan, speaking at a ceremony in Lahore, Attaullah Tarar announced that an organizing committee is being established to bring sincere workers to the forefront and acknowledge their work during challenging times. The Information Minister emphasized that political parties endure due to the passion and efforts of their workers and that resolving workers’ issues is a top priority for the party.
Attaullah Tarar highlighted that PML-N leaders have made significant sacrifices for democracy. He noted that during difficult times, the workers remained steadfast in facing police stations and legal battles. The Minister recounted the arrests of Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif, and Hamza Shehbaz during the Musharraf era and the past four years, emphasizing the recognized hardships faced by key party figures, including Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif, and Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
Addressing the ceremony, Khawaja Saad Rafique stressed the importance of political parties remembering their workers who have dedicated their lives to the party. Senator Pervaiz Rashid, also speaking at the ceremony, mentioned that the organizing committee would be comprised solely of workers.
