CJCSC and Bahraini Commander Discuss Regional Security and Strengthen Military Ties


Rawalpindi: Commander Bahrain National Guard General Shaikh Mohammed Bin Isa Bin Salman Al Khalifa met with Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza to discuss evolving regional security concerns and the enhancement of bilateral military cooperation between Pakistan and Bahrain.



According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting focused on the current regional environment and pertinent security issues. Both military leaders stressed the importance of broadening the scope and depth of existing military engagements and cooperation between the two nations.



General Shaikh Mohammed Bin Isa Bin Salman Al Khalifa praised the professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces and recognized their sacrifices in the ongoing fight against terrorism. This acknowledgment underscores the mutual respect and acknowledgment of each country’s military efforts.



Earlier, upon his arrival at the Joint Staff Headquarters, General Shaikh Mohammed was honored with a ‘Guard of Honour’ presented by a smartly turned-out tri-services contingent, symbolizing the deep-rooted military camaraderie between Bahrain and Pakistan.
