Islamabad: Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours. However, light rain-thunderstorm, accompanied by light snowfalls over the hills, is anticipated at isolated places in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and northwestern Balochistan.
According to Radio Pakistan, the temperature recorded in major cities this morning included Islamabad at nine degrees centigrade, Lahore at fourteen, Karachi at twenty, Peshawar at twelve, Quetta at three, Gilgit at two, Murree at zero, and Muzaffarabad at seven degrees centigrade.
The weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir indicates partly cloudy weather with chances of light rain during the evening and night in regions such as Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula, while Jammu is expected to remain partly cloudy. The morning temperatures recorded were four degrees centigrade in Srinagar, eleven in Jammu, minus-five in Leh, one in Pulwama and Baramula, and two degrees in Anantnag and Shopian.
