Islamabad: Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has said the country’s economy is witnessing a turnaround due to the difficult decisions taken by the government. Addressing an event in Islamabad today, he mentioned that inflation has decreased to a single digit and exports have increased by fourteen percent. He also highlighted the rapid growth of IT exports.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister for Planning noted that friendly countries including Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, and Azerbaijan, have identified a twenty-nine billion dollar portfolio investment opportunity in Pakistan.
