DPM Reaffirms Commitment to Stronger Pak-China Friendship

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has reaffirmed Pakistan's unwavering commitment to further strengthening the enduring Pakistan-China friendship. He was addressing a ceremony marking the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China in Islamabad today.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ishaq Dar emphasized that the Pakistan-China friendship remains stronger than ever and continues to serve as a model of mutual trust, respect, and mutually beneficial cooperation. He highlighted that the partnership between Pakistan and China has been nurtured by successive generations of leaders and reflects the aspirations of the people of both countries.

The Deputy Prime Minister underscored that Pakistan and China have consistently supported each other's sovereignty, territorial integrity, and core interests. He pointed out that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) has had a transformative impact on Pakistan by addressing energy shortages, improving infrastructure, and creating employment opportunities.

Dar further stated that the second phase of CPEC will concentrate on high-quality development in sectors such as industrialization, agriculture, mines and minerals, information technology, and human resource development.
