Islamabad: Dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while the hilly areas will experience cold conditions during the next twelve hours. There is a possibility of smog developing over a few plain areas of Punjab.
According to Radio Pakistan, the temperatures recorded in major cities this morning were as follows: Islamabad and Murree at seven degrees centigrade, Lahore at fifteen, Karachi at sixteen, Peshawar at twelve, Quetta at two, Gilgit at minus one, and Muzaffarabad at eight degrees centigrade.
For the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir region, the weather forecast predicts cold and dry conditions in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula, with dry weather anticipated in Jammu. The temperatures recorded this morning in these areas were: Srinagar and Shopian at two degrees centigrade, Jammu at ten, Leh at minus five, and Pulwama, Anantnag, and Baramula at three degrees centigrade.
