Entire Nation Stands United to Safeguard Motherland: President

Larkana: President Asif Ali Zardari has categorically stated that Pakistan does not want war with any country but if anyone ever tries to test our patience, we will respond with full might. He was addressing the public gathering in connection with the 18th death anniversary of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto, Larkana this evening.

According to Radio Pakistan, the President emphasized that Pakistan's defence is impregnable and no one will be allowed to succeed in their nefarious designs against the motherland. Speaking about the war between India and Pakistan during May this year, he noted that despite India's boasts of military and economic might, they could not withstand the resilient and gallant forces of Pakistan for even four days.

President Zardari highlighted the humiliating defeat inflicted on India in May, which testified to Pakistan's military mettle and the courage and resilience of its nation. He directed his address to Pakistan People's Party workers and supporters, urging them to follow in the guiding principles of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Quaid-e-Awaam Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, and to be the guardians of democratic values as espoused by these leaders.

He affirmed that the Pakistan People's Party, its loyal workers, and the entire nation stand resolute alongside the armed forces of Pakistan to defeat any malicious elements.
