First Lady Samina Alvi calls for enrollment of out-of-school children

First Lady Samina Alvi has called for enrollment of out-of-school children to take the country on the path of progress and development.

 

Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad on Monday, she regretted that over twenty two million children in Pakistan are out of schools.

 

Emphasizing on importance of girls education, she said girls play a significant role in uplift of the society.

 

She stressed promoting informal education system in order to bring more and more children to schools.

 

The First Lady also urged the philanthropists to come forward and play their vital role in bringing children back to schools.

 

Later, the First Lady distributed certificates among the children.
