Finance Minister, Shaukat Tarin says government is committed to introduce reforms in various sectors to address structural issues and to attain sustainable and inclusive growth.
Talking to Tariq H Niazi of Asian Development Bank in Islamabad today [Wednesday], he said government has taken steps to improve revenue collection through broadening of tax base, capturing retail sales, single window operations as well as track and trace system.
He said efforts are being made to complete the remaining prior actions under the capital markets development programme.
Speaking on this occasion, Tariq Niazi said Asian Development Bank is extending full technical support to Pakistan for successful implementation of various programs.
He appreciated Pakistan’s efforts for improvement in social and economic sectors. He re-affirmed Bank’s commitment to continue support for the implementation of structural reforms in future.
