Hajj pilgrims continue to perform ‘Rami al-Jamarat’ for second consecutive day

Around three million Hujjaj gathered at Mina from around the world continue to perform Rami al-Jamarat on consecutive second day, on Thursday.

Radio Pakistan’s correspondent Javed Iqbal reports from Mina, Makkah that under the close supervision of Saudi authorities, Hujjaj continued stoning the devils in a three-story bridge erected to ease congestion.

Rami al-Jamarat is the riskiest part of the annual Hajj pilgrimage as huge people gather at one point “Satan Complex” to stone the devil.

This year, to ensure the safety of Hujjaj Saudi government has deployed over 10000 security forces and medics to monitor the entire situation at all points.

To protect themselves from sweltering heat, many of the faithful were holding umbrellas.

Pakistani guides and Moavineen are working round the clock to help misplaced Hujjaj near Jamrat complex and guiding them to their designated camps.

The stoning of Satan ritual will continue till Saturday.

It is worth mentioning that Pakistan medical mission helped 112 pilgrims having health issues to perform Waqoof e Arafat through 18 designated Ambulances and two busses.

These cases include heart, cancer, diabetes and patients with backbone problem.

These noble services of Pakistan medical mission will be remembered.
