A literary session was held at Radio Pakistan Islamabad today to discuss autobiography of legendary broadcaster and laureate Hameed Naseem titled ‘Na Mumkin Ki Justaju’.
In his introductory remarks, Secretary Information and Broadcasting Zahoor Ahmed said Radio Pakistan has for decades been the pivot of civilization and is still a rich asset of art, literature and music.
The Secretary Information said efforts are underway to revive the historic classical music programs and training sessions of Radio Pakistan.
He said such literary sessions should be held regularly to share insights with each other regarding the literature we study every day.
Taking part in the discussion, broadcaster Ali Tanha and scholar Zahid Kazmi not only reminisced the glorious past of Radio Pakistan but also delved into the intellectual richness of the institution.
They said this institution has for many decades, trained and produced professionals in different genres of art.
Earlier, legendary newscaster of Radio Pakistan Ishrat Saqib read out excerpts from Hameed Naseem ‘s book.
