Mohsin Calls for Further Promotion of Cricket


Dhaka: President of the Asian Cricket Council and Interior Minister, Mohsin Naqvi, has emphasized the need for further promotion of cricket. Speaking at a ceremony hosted by the Bangladesh Cricket Board, he highlighted the importance of expanding cricket in countries where the sport has yet to gain ground.



According to Radio Pakistan, Mohsin Naqvi stressed that the goal is for all Asian Cricket Council members to build strong teams to foster competition and a strong market in Asia. He underscored the necessity for collaborative efforts to achieve this objective, indicating that the promotion of cricket could lead to significant growth in the sport’s popularity and economic potential across the region.
