President Dr. Arif Alvi has emphasized that more women should join the workforce after completing their education.
Addressing the convocation of Foundation University in Islamabad today, he said responsibility rests with the state to provide the women protection against harassment.
The President pointed out that about twenty million children are out of school and every segment of society should come forward to address this issue.
President Arif Alvi said Pakistan requires graduates in all disciplines including medicine and engineering. He however stressed the importance of creating opportunities for them within the country to prevent brain drain.
