MoU Signed for Cooperation Against Drugs Smuggling


Quetta: Anti-Narcotics Force and Excise and Taxation and Anti-Narcotics Department of Balochistan have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance cooperation to curb drugs smuggling.



According to Radio Pakistan, the signing ceremony was attended by Director General Anti-Narcotics Force, Major General Abdul Moeed, along with senior officers from the ANF. This initiative marks a significant step in addressing the challenges posed by drug smuggling in the region.



The MoU focuses on mutual data transferring, operational cooperation, and timely analysis of drug trends. These measures are designed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of both organizations in tackling the issue.



The agreement also aims to bolster the ongoing efforts of both federal and provincial institutions in combating narcotics. This is part of a broader framework under the federal government’s Inter-Agency Task Force, which seeks to coordinate actions across various agencies to address the drug menace comprehensively.
