The National Assembly met briefly at the Parliament house in Islamabad on Friday with Deputy Speaker Zahid Akram Durrani in the chair.
At the outset, Minister for Water Resources Khurshid Shah stressed that the proceedings of the house must commence in a timely manner. He said it is the matter of the sanctity of this house.
Later, Ghous Bux Khan Mahar pointed out lack of quorum. On counting the house was not found in order and the chair adjourned the proceedings till Monday at five pm.
