According to the latest alert by The National Emergency Operation Center (NEOC), medium level floods are expected in rivers Chenab, Ravi and Sutlej, and associated canals Bhimbar, Ek, Deg, Ben Pulkho and Basantar.
However, the water is likely to be confined to rivers/nullahs, which may have a potential impact only on the low-lying areas adjacent to the river banks.
