PAF Day Celebrated with National Zeal to Honor 1965 War Heroes

Karachi: Pakistan Air Force Day was observed on Sunday with national zeal to commemorate the valor of the defenders of air space of the country against the Indian aggression in September 1965 war. The day is a reminder of the bravery and skill demonstrated by the Pakistani pilots during the conflict.

According to Radio Pakistan, the valiant Pakistani pilots, despite limited resources, managed to annihilate Indian air aggression and inflicted a humiliating defeat on India. Their unprecedented skill in warfare and insurmountable courage played a crucial role in defending the nation’s airspace.

One of the most remarkable feats was achieved by the PAF ace Muhammad Mahmood Alam, commonly known as M.M. Alam, who shot down five Indian Air Force fighters in less than a minute, showcasing exceptional aerial combat skills.
