Islamabad: CEO of Pak Suzuki Hiroshi Kawamura met with SAPM for Industries and Production Haroon Akhtar Khan in Islamabad today to discuss the expansion of industrial and trade cooperation between Pakistan and Japan. Haroon Akhtar Khan emphasized Pakistan’s potential as a promising market for Pak Suzuki and highlighted the importance of ongoing collaboration in the automotive sector. He expressed Pakistan’s interest in joint industrial ventures that could pave the way for growth and innovation.
According to Radio Pakistan, the SAPM appreciated Pak Suzuki’s initiative to establish a Biogas Plant in Manga Mandi, recognizing its role in promoting green energy solutions. The meeting also addressed the integration of ethanol fuel in vehicles, engine compatibility, and the local production of auto parts to enhance Pakistan’s automotive industry.
Haroon Akhtar Khan reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to localizing auto manufacturing and increasing local content. He also emphasized the significance of biogas and electric vehicle projects in partnership with Japan, strengthening the two countries’ dedication to technological innovation and clean energy solutions.
