New york: Pakistan has expressed its intention to elevate its strong ties with Turkiye to even greater strategic heights. This statement was made by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, who shared his message on the social media platform X after a meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
According to Radio Pakistan, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar also met with Syrian President Ahmed al-Shara’a during his visit. In the meeting, Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s solidarity with the Syrian people. The discussions between the two countries focused on deepening their historic friendship through cooperation in various domains, including trade, human capital, and development.
Additionally, Ishaq Dar held a meeting with the Prime Minister of Kuwait, Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. Both sides highlighted their commitment to strengthening brotherly relations and shared their resolve to expand cooperation across multifaceted areas of mutual interest.
