Pakistan and Oman Commit to Strengthening Bilateral Relations


Islamabad: Pakistan and Oman have reaffirmed their commitment to further expand and strengthen the existing fraternal ties in diverse fields for mutually beneficial outcomes. This was agreed upon during a telephonic conversation between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and the Foreign Minister of Oman, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Al Busaidi.



According to Radio Pakistan, the discussion also covered issues relating to regional and international peace and security. Both leaders emphasized the importance of such collaboration and expressed a mutual desire to enhance their countries’ cooperation.



During the conversation, both leaders extended invitations to visit each other’s countries and agreed to arrange visits at mutually convenient earliest dates. In addition, the Deputy Prime Minister of Pakistan expressed appreciation for the Sultanate of Oman’s role in facilitating talks between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States.
