Islamabad: A joint operation conducted by Pakistan and Qatar has successfully prevented an attempt to smuggle 4.48 kilograms of cocaine through Islamabad International Airport.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF), in cooperation with Qatari authorities, executed the operation based on shared intelligence. The ANF intercepted a Pakistani female passenger who was traveling from Sharjah to Islamabad via Doha. During a thorough search of her trolley bag, authorities discovered 4.48 kilograms of cocaine.
During interrogation, the woman disclosed that her handler, who was also connected to the intended recipient of the drugs, was present at the airport. Acting on this information, the ANF quickly apprehended the suspect along with his vehicle.
