Pakistan Condemns Israeli Plans for Forced Displacement of Palestinians

Islamabad: Pakistan has strongly condemned recent statements by the Israeli occupying power, expressing its intention to forcibly displace Palestinians from their land. In a statement on Saturday, Foreign Office Spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan said such actions are a clear violation of international law and a deliberate attempt to sabotage efforts for achieving peace and stability in the region.

According to Radio Pakistan, Foreign Office Spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan emphasized that forced displacement and the continued expansion of illegal settlements reflect Israel’s disregard for international human rights and humanitarian law. The spokesperson urged the international community to address the humanitarian plight of civilians and hold Israel accountable for its actions.

Pakistan reiterated its unwavering support for the Palestinian people in their struggle for self-determination and the establishment of a sovereign, independent Palestinian state based on pre-1967 borders, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.

Meanwhile, UNICEF has described Gaza as a city of fear and funerals. Speaking to media in New York, Communication Manager for UNICEF’s Middle East and North Africa Regional Office, Tess Ingram, called on the international community to prevent catastrophe in Gaza City as Israel ramps up military operations ahead of a planned full takeover.
