Pakistan Delivers Second Relief Consignment to Myanmar


Yangon: Pakistan has handed over the second consignment of emergency relief aid to Myanmar for its earthquake-affectees. Pakistan’s Ambassador to Myanmar, Imran Haider, officially gave the consignment to the Chief Minister of Yangon Region at Yangon International Airport.



According to Radio Pakistan, this shipment, comprising 35 tons of goods, brings the total relief assistance dispatched to Myanmar after the recent earthquake to 70 tons. As per the directives of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the National Disaster Management Authority efficiently coordinated and expedited the dispatch of these consignments within a short timeframe.



Pakistan remains steadfast in its commitment to provide humanitarian assistance to the earthquake-affected people of Myanmar.
