Pakistan High Commissioner to Canada Zaheer A. Janjua has urged Pakistani diaspora to make generous donations for their brothers and sisters affected by the devastating earthquake in Turkiye and Syria.
He was addressing a fundraising event, organized by the International Development Relief Foundation in Ottawa.
The High Commissioner said the people of Pakistan stand in solidarity with their Turkish and Syrian brethren in the wake of the devastating earthquake.
He said Pakistan’s National Disaster Management Authority is actively engaged in mobilizing all available resources to support relief efforts in Turkiye and Syria.
