Islamabad: Pakistan will establish its first international standard local bulletproof glass manufacturing factory in Karachi with the facilitation of Special Investment Facilitation Council.
According to Radio Pakistan, a delegation of leading business group Vanguard International held an important meeting with SIFC officials regarding this project. The initiative is set to commence with an investment of approximately fifty million dollars at the Bin Qasim Industrial Park.
The factory will produce bulletproof glass to meet the requirements of Pakistan Army and security institutions. This modern facility will facilitate technology transfer, conserve foreign exchange, and create employment opportunities for around four hundred skilled workers.
