Pakistan, US agree to continue coordination for regional peace, stability

Pakistan and the United States have agreed to continue coordination for ensuring peace and stability in the region in general and in Afghanistan in particular.

An understanding to this effect came during a meeting between Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar and a delegation of US Institute of Peace (USIP) in Washington DC on Monday.

The USIP delegation was led by Vice-President of Asia Program Andrew Wilders.

The two sides discussed the prospects of broad-based engagement between the two countries.
