Pakistan will continue to extend support to Kashmiris for their right to self-determination: FO

Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch says Pakistan will continue to extend its political, diplomatic and moral support to the people of Kashmir until realization of their right to self-determination.

Talking exclusively to Radio Pakistan Correspondent Ahsan Sheikh in Islamabad today, she said seventy-six years have been passed of the illegal occupation of India in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and people of Kashmir are being subjected to the severe atrocities by the Indian occupational forces.

The Spokesperson categorically stated that every child of Pakistan supports the legitimate struggle of Kashmiris for the right to self-determination.

Answering a question about the revocation of Article 370 and unilateral measures of 5 August 2019 by India, she emphasized that it is an attempt to suppress the voice of the people of Kashmir.

Highlighting the illegal steps of New Delhi in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said instead of granting right to self-determination, India placed the Kashmiri leadership behind the bars.

She said India is settling the non-Kashmiris in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir with an aim to turn the majority of Kashmiris into the minority and that is not acceptable for the people of Kashmir and Pakistan as well.
